The University of Debrecen, with a student body of around 28,000, is one of Hungary’s largest higher education institutions. Situated in Debrecen, the largest city outside of Budapest, it serves as a cultural, economic, and scientific center for the region. The University of Debrecen has strategically established regional offices around the world to cater to the needs of students in specific areas. In 2017, the university took a significant step by opening its regional office in Pakistan. Recognizing the growing importance of the region, the office was later upgraded to become the regional office for South Asia after six successful years. Presently, the office boasts three branches located in Dubai, Islamabad, and Lahore, ensuring enhanced accessibility and support for students from these areas. These regional offices serve as valuable hubs for prospective students, providing guidance about latest information, and assistance throughout their educational journey at the University of Debrecen.
